Own shoe line “WINE COLLECTION” by RAGSTAR

“Wine” recently designed a new line of shoes for the international fashion brand RAGSTAR. Geoffrey had the wish to design his “citylines” concept on a shoe. RAGSTAR has made this dream come true and it has resulted in a super cool WINE COLLECTION. Leather shoes for women and men, both a complete summer and winter collection. In March 2014  is the big introduction of the shoe line. We are already working on other products behind the scenes. These are also coming out in 2014! Super exciting.

For the concept, Geoffrey was inspired by his youngest son Jesse. Wine painted a canvas one afternoon together with Jesse. Jesse was working with a roller to make wide surfaces. We chose to use fresh colors and at the end the cloth had to be turned a quarter turn. At that moment I saw all kinds of skyscrapers in the painting. I later developed this concept further and that was the beginning of the very successful CITYLINES. You can imagine that this can expand to all kinds of cities. New York, London, Paris, Venice, Amsterdam.

This summer’s collection features the Amsterdam “Citylines” theme on the shoes.
