Art-project Dominestraat Roosendaal

In august 2023 Wine started working on the public ArtWork in the Dominestraat in Roosendaal the Netherlands. An ArtWork for and with the people. The work of art I have in mind has the theme of “meeting” in the broadest sense of the word. How we will visualize this, I leave partly to the creativity of the residents involved, municipal officials involved in the project, etc. I will guide them completely in this. No one has to worry that it won’t work out, as long as I’m there everything will be fine.
The final work of art is the translation into Wine-Style of the input from everyone involved resulting from various workshop sessions in my studio. Everyone will actively become acquainted with creating a painting in Wine Style. This is to ensure that a kind of group “mindset” is created and that people learn to think in terms of the possibilities within creating in Wine-Style. This may include several workshops. We then jointly create several large XL works of art detailing the various choices.
The idea is to ultimately create a definitive work of art measuring 8 meters wide and 2.5 m high. The theme of meeting is central here and translated by Wine. The final image was determined by the local residents involved by expressing a preference during an exhibition of the XL artworks.

I have put together this workshop especially for those who have no experience with making a painting. No fear that it won’t work. I explain it well, demonstrate it and actively help everyone create the painting. Success guaranteed and you will make something real for yourself! Everyone has now experienced that it is not easy and what it is like to make a painting in Wine-Style. And now we create the theme for the actual artwork for the Dominestraat. With the input Wine creates the 8m wide and 3m high ArtWork.
